Three Sisters, Katoomba, Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia
Photographed at dawn, Echo Point lookout in Katoomba offered stunning views of the Jamison valley and the Three Sisters. It was easy to see why the Blue Mountains are so popular. These three weathered sandstone peaks, formed thousands of years ago through erosion, are set among the cliffs of the Jamison Valley and Mount Solitary in the background.
An iconic rock formation, The Three Sisters form part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The region is truly spectacular, home to many great walks and nature experiences.
