Bradleys Hut, Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia

It had been raining all day and by the time I made it to Bradleys Hut, I was over the weather. Yet, the dramatic sky and fog created the perfect backdrop to capture the mood of this alpine retreat nestled near the edge of the Jagungal wilderness.

Bradleys Hut, also known as Bradleys and O'Briens Hut, was built by Jack Bailey in 1952 and was originally used for grazing. The stables and horse yards have since been removed.
