I'm always drawn to snow gums when in the alpine areas of Australia. On this evening following an enjoyable afternoon exploring amongst the snow gums, I settled on capturing this tree. As the sun set, the last light of the day fell on this ancient tree. The twisted branches really underscored the age and beauty of these elders of the high country.
