"With it windy and snowing, I spent all day scouting areas with snow covered snow gums. This group of four trunks protruding from the snow base caught my attention. With a short break in the weather emerging, a little bit of sun emerged through the clouds, lighting the scene before me. The improved conditions really highlighted the red bark on the trees, adding to weathered look. It was one of many great moments during this great day out amongst these icons of the Australian Alps." - Scott
