This was a somewhat mentally challenging photograph to capture. It required an early morning climb up the side of one of Western Australia's giant Karri trees that stood at over 75 metres high, with the top reached by climbing 165 metal spikes hammered into the trunk. Despite the natural fear of heights that ensued in embarking on the climb, the top rewarded me with 360 degree views of the Karri forest below.
