"It had been raining all day and by the time I made it to Bradleys Hut and O'Briens Hut, I was over the weather. Yet, the dramatic sky and fog created the perfect backdrop to capture the mood of this alpine retreat nestled near the edge of the Jagungal wilderness." - Scott
Bradleys Hut, also known as Bradleys and O'Briens Hut, was built by Jack Bailey with the help of the Bradley and O'Brien families in 1952 before the Tooma road was developed. It was originally used for grazing, but the stables and horse yards have since been removed. The hut was destroyed in the January 2020 bushfires.
