The tidal flats of the King River make for a spectacular sight when viewed from the air. Photographing from a helicopter allowed me to capture the late afternoon light on this estuarine area, highlighting the flood and tidal patterns created on the mud flats below. It was really enjoyable to see this from the air, something that at ground level can't be appreciated.
