Mount Feathertop, Alpine National Park, Victoria, Australia
Camped out for a few nights on Mount Feathertop I was determined to get some different angles of the summit of Victoria's second highest mountain. The weather had other ideas though, with the summit and surrounds often shrouded in clouds. On this morning I woke early and went out to this vantage point on The Razorback, looking back at the summit waiting for the sun to rise. The snow and ice covered snow gum in the foreground added the wintery touch to the peak in the background. With an ever changing view, it's hard to tire of watching and photographing the peak of Mount Feathertop, especially in winter.
