The Australian Alps Walking Track winds through the High Country of Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. It traverses rugged and remote alpine country, passing through some of Australia's finest alpine national parks. The track climbs Australia's highest mountains, crossing exposed high plains, passes through magnificent tall forests and stunted snow gum woodlands and discovers sites rich in history. In winter, much of the higher reaches of the walking track are buried in snow.
On this occasion, my afternoon on the track was spent in heavy fog, with constant snow falls and poor visibility. When the weather finally lifted a little for me to see more of what was before me, this was one of the first scenes that drew me in. Here, buried in snow, the walking track passed adjacent to snow and ice covered snow gums. It really was a winter wonderland.

Small Frame.Our small frame (2cm wide x 2cm deep) is limited to the smallest sizes of framed prints. Your fine art paper print is mounted with a matt border, framed and completed with acrylic that protects against 70% of UV.
Shadow Box Frame.Your fine art paper print is mounted and framed in a contemporary shadow box frame (27mm wide x 48mm deep) available in white or raw wood (Tasmanian Oak). It is completed with museum grade acrylic (rather than glass) as it is light weight, transports well (doesn't break) and protects against 99% of UV.
Sizes. Framed prints come ready to hang. The listed size is the total finished frame size, including the frame and border around the image.
