Erskine Falls, Great Otway National Park, Victoria, Australia
The Great Otway National Park is a spectacular area of native forest, and there are plenty of opportunities to get close to nature with walking tracks and trails in the area, many leading to spectacular crashing waterfalls. Erskine Falls, located near Lorne, is one of the most popular, plunging approximately 30 metres into a tree fern filled gully of the Erskine River below.
I've visited Erskine Falls numerous times and on this visit, despite minimal rain over the summer months, water continued to flow. It seems no matter the time of year, this waterfall is always an easily accessible and relaxing nature escape.
