One Tree Hotel, Riverina District, New South Wales, Australia

Attempting to convey the historic nature and feel of this old pub was critical to me in photographing this building. On this occasion, I arrived well before sunrise with the full moon shrouded by thin cloud, creating a somewhat eerie feel to the place. As the early pre dawn light began to emerge from behind me it began to light up the pub creating great even lighting with the moonlight above. The long exposure resulted in an image that helped create the feel I was looking for - one that conveyed the great history that exists in pubs like this all across former frontier lands of Australia.

The One Tree Hotel stands alone against the flat skyline of western New South Wales. It is a stark reminder of days gone by of squatters' runs and stage coaches of the old Cobb & Co that used the pub as a staging post. Built in 1862, the One Tree Hotel was named because of a lone large gum tree and it was made famous by Banjo Patterson's immortal poem, 'Hay and Hell and Booligal'. The hotel was a thriving business in the days until the licence was allowed to lapse in 1942. Often as I travel around Australia, I like to try and capture the Australian pioneering spirit, both current and past.

We have been supplying Scott's artworks to homes and offices, across Australia and overseas for nearly twenty years. All artworks are made here in Australia and certified with the Australian Made Campaign. If an item is not in stock, it will be made to order for you. With hundreds of photos and plenty of framing and mounting options we can't stock everything. We offer free delivery to Australian locations.

Museum quality, fine art paper and inks.

We use fine art cotton paper from either Hahnemühle or Canson. This exceptionally high quality fine art paper is acid free and printed using genuine pigment inks - favoured by galleries and collectors because of their print longevity.

As a print only, this requires framing, allowing you to select your own mounting and framing options. The listed size includes a 8cm white border around each side of the photo, allowing sufficient room to accommodate various framing choices.

Unframed prints come rolled in a protective tube, making them our recommendation for international customers.

A clean, simple and modern look, suitable for any home.

Small Frame:The small frame (2cm wide x 2cm deep) is limited to our smallest sizes of framed prints. Your fine art paper print is mounted with a matt border, framed and completed with acrylic that protects against 70% of UV. The listed size is for the total finished framed dimensions of this artwork

Shadow Box Frame:Your fine art paper print is mounted and framed in a contemporary shadow box frame (27mm wide x 48mm deep) that is available in white or raw wood.

It is completed with museum grade acrylic (rather than glass) as it is light weight, transports well (doesn't break) and protects against 99% of UV.

Framed prints come ready to hang. The listed size is the total finished frame size, including the frame and border around the image.

Australian Wall Art - Acrylic Wall Mount

Frameless, glass like feel. A clean, modern look for your print.

The photo is printed on metallic paper, creating a 'pearlescent' metallic gloss finish. The print is face mounted onto optically clear, museum grade acrylic which offers 99% UV protection.

The print is backed with treated aluminium, protecting your print from front to back. It is then finished with a diamond edge polisher.

Ready to hang on your wall, with a thin aluminium frame hidden behind the print.
