London Arch, Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia
The London Arch is a natural arch and one of the many tourist attractions in the Port Campbell National Park along the Great Ocean Road. The stack was formed by a gradual erosion process and until 1990 formed a complete double span natural bridge. The arch closest to the shoreline collapsed unexpectedly on 15 January 1990. Prior to the collapse the arch was known as the London Bridge. In this shot I wanted to capture the details of the arch and shoreline cliffs, clearly showing the arch amongst the rough waters of the Great Southern Ocean.
