Alpine National Park, Victoria, Australia
With no one else around, not even on the road up Mt Hotham, I couldn't hear a thing. But that was because the wind was blowing so hard it was hard to hear anything else. Once I had secured my tripod, I sat crouched on the snow, attempting to retain some degree of warmth while waiting for sunrise. Then the heights of Victoria's alps lit up in front of me with an early morning glow.
