Early morning fog rested just above the edge of Wilpena Pound as I waited for the sun to rise. Slowly, as if the Pound itself was waking up, the band of fog and the cliffs lit up in colour. From the dark early morning to the bright colours that ensued, I stood watching, reflecting on how many times this scene had unfolded over the thousands of years that Wilpena Pound has existed.
Wilpena Pound is a natural amphitheatre of mountains located in the heart of the Flinders Ranges National Park.

Acrylic desk blocks give the print a three dimensional look and make excellent gifts. They are perfect for desks, bookshelves, and mantelpieces. These are printed on professional grade metallic photographic paper, using archival inks. It is then mounted on the back of an acrylic (plexiglass) block. It is finished with diamond polishing, buffing and a final hand polish. Since they are free-standing, no hanging system is required.
