Standing at the heights of Mount Hotham, I was mesmerised watching the fog coming and going over the approaches to Mount Feathertop. Occasionally the summit of Feathertop would be totally exposed, while at other times the summit was precluded. Standing there, above it all, it was another reminder of how different winter alpine conditions can be just a short distance away. With an ever changing view, it is hard to tire of watching and photographing Victoria's second highest summit.
