Farrer Ridge Nature Reserve, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
Each year, across Canberra the gum trees shed their bark. During the process the peeling of the bark makes for some great abstract colours and patterns. This evening after exploring across Farrer Ridge I settled on photographing this tree at sunset. Its interesting patterns made the bark look like it had been clawed.
