Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia
A few days spent photographing in Kosciuszko National Park saw me continually drawn back to capture areas of snow gums. I seem to never be able to escape the history and beauty of these trees, with their barks natural colours highlighted when they get wet.
Snow gums (Eucalyptus Pauciflora) are the quintessential alpine tree of the mountains of the southeastern Australian mainland, dominating subalpine woodlands at the altitudinal limit to tree growth.
