The Cathedral, Mount Buffalo, Victoria, Australia
It was the start of winter and the first snow had fallen. While much had melted away, there were remnants left around for this spectacular sunset.
This is a brilliant place to visit in both summer and winter. I've been visiting and hiking Mount Buffalo since I was a child. I am always drawn back whenever I am in the area. A steep but short track led me to this stunning location. As the sun slowly set, I enjoyed spectacular views of the plateau and the granite tor of the Cathedral. It is views like this that keep drawing me back to Mount Buffalo and the Victorian Alps.
