Mount Hotham, Alpine National Park, Victoria, Australia
A winter snow storm had lasted all afternoon. I was cold and frustrated as the high winds made it difficult to photograph. Late in the day, the storm stopped and all over Mount Hotham the snow gums were covered in snow. It was a total winter wonderland. I found this secluded area, surrounded by snow gums buried and covered in ice and snow. It truly was a peaceful scene that made me grateful for staying out until after the storm.
