Condowie, South Australia, Australia
Much of rural South Australia is spectacular just before the wheat crops are harvested each year. There are often beautiful golds and oranges as the wheat ripens and dries out across fields everywhere you look. On this occasion I was keen to capture a quintessential wheat field, but without much of the usual clutter found around many of the farms. As a spectacular sunset began to emerge over the hills to my right, great orange light came across this wheat field, nicely lighting up the old shed and silos. The longer exposure of the shot also meant I was able to capture some of the movement as the wheat rustled in the evening breeze, adding another dimension to the otherwise simple and clean scene of rural South Australia before me.
