The Razorback, Alpine National Park, Victoria, Australia
It is amazing what a little distance does. I awoke from my tent on Mount Feathertop to nothing but heavy fog and limited visibility in the dark. Determined not to miss the sunrise I decided to venture a small way along the Razorback towards Mount Hotham. A short while later I was out of the fog and greeted with views across to the ski fields of Hotham and beyond. Having seen the view countless times from the other direction looking from Hotham rather than towards it, it was a refreshing perspective on how distance can change your view - whether that be the landscape or life in general. I enjoyed seeing this scene, captured before sunrise, across the Victorian Alps from a different perspective on this morning.
