F/A-18 Hornets, Royal Australian Air Force
A formation of four F/A-18s, flown by some of my former colleagues from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) break formation over the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
The Royal Australian Air Force is the second-oldest air force in the world and it's F/A-18 Hornets formed the backbone of its air combat capability for 30 years. The F/A-18 Hornet is a multi-role fighter designed for both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.
