Mount Hotham, Alpine National Park, Victoria, Australia
It was dumping snow so I spent the day exploring and photographing some of the highest snow gums on Mount Hotham. Battling strong winds and constant snow meant challenging conditions to keep my camera lens dry and not get blown away. The result was a capture of fresh snow falling on this 'chilled' snow gum. I love to experience such winter weather amongst stunning Australian scenery as well as bringing back photos of true winter alpine moments. Spending time out in these conditions really is rewarding, whether I'm out photographing on snow shoes or skiing.
