Redhead Beach, Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
After a day exploring beaches along the New South Wales coast, I finished watching sunset at Redhead Beach. The cloud cover made for a rather bland sunset in terms of colour, but created a moody evening scene as I looked out to the Pacific Ocean. I couldn't help but reflect on what is an awesome view from the top of the shark tower out to the Pacific Ocean.
Redhead Beach is famous for its headland cliff and the shark tower of the Redhead Surf Life Saving Club. The beach sits at the northern end of a nine mile stretch of coastline and is popular with swimmers and surfers alike.
