Alpine Shire, Victoria, Australia
Many north east Victorian towns are set in picturesque valleys surrounded by forests, mountain ranges and lined with fruit orchards. A scenic area at any time of year, autumn really brings the area to life with a multitude of colours amongst the many orchards. This stunning red row of trees beside an orchard is incredibly popular with locals and tourists alike during autumn. With them so well photographed I wanted to capture a photograph that was a bit different. I returned on many occasions to this spot. Finally on this morning, the early morning fog was lifting from the pine forests in the background, creating just the stunning scene I had hoped for.
