Nestled in amongst the snowgums, snow fed alpine streams and the high plains, Dinner Plain is surrounded by the vast Alpine National Park. In winter the area is a white winter wonderland with a seemingly endless network of snow tracks and trails. After spending the afternoon exploring some of these trails during light snow falls, I captured these snow gums. The recent snow and low cloud created great light, highlighting the twisted trunks and coloured bark that make snow gums so great to photograph in winter.

ACRYLIC - DESK BLOCK
Acrylic desk blocks give the print a three dimensional look and make excellent gifts. They are perfect for desks, bookshelves, and mantelpieces. These are printed on professional grade metallic photographic paper, using archival inks. It is then mounted on the back of an acrylic (plexiglass) block. It is finished with diamond polishing, buffing and a final hand polish. Since they are free-standing, no hanging system is required.
