I haven't entered many  photography competitons over the last couple of years, but earlier this year decided to enter the 2015 Epson International Pano Awards. This competiton recognises the art of panoramic photography, showcasing the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest competition for panoramic photography.

As an Australian landscape photographer who photographs many of my images in the panoramic format, I thought I'd return to photography competitions by entering a couple of photos in this years Epson Pano awards.

Over the weekend I received my results, receiving a Silver award and a Bronze award. It's always nice to receive recognition and whilst I didn't make the top 50 as I have in past years, I know I'm inspired to push my work further and be back next year to try and get in the top grouping again.
